During lock-down of 2021 we gained access to a beautiful vacant church in London, E17 before it went through demolition and rebuild.
A duet of reeds and double bass + a huge natural reverb, cold handed and slightly eery, we set up mics in the room, pressed record and went flying in the cold church for few hours. Capturing the beautiful space that exists between the notes and instruments, bare, honest but ferocious. Incredibly lyrical, meditative and hypnotic, this is an album that brings out our personal story and cultural backdrop in a unique way.
