no. 1 is inspired by New York jazz, European free jazz and the quartets of Ornette Coleman and Gerry Mulligan in the fifties. It differentiates itself from other albums through an unusually airy soundscape caused by the chordless constellation. The band offers a blend of both open and through-composed tunes written by the horn section, Marius Zeeberg and Andreas Lundblom.
