River Run is Zack Nestel-Patt's debut album. A mix of jazz, rock and ambient music, it features a core jazz trio of guitar, drums and bass augmented with overdubs of synthesizer, guitar and arco bass. Recorded over a weekend in Putney Vermont, River Run has the sensibility of a indie- rock record but lives in the history and tradition of improvised music.
