When Janning Trumann's stay in New York in early 2017 came to an end, a plan matured in him. "I wanted to record something of the music I developed and played in the city for about two years," says the 27-year-old trombonist. The idea was to capture some kind of conclusion or at least some facets of his time in the US. So he called good friends and booked a studio.
